Institutum Iurisprudentiae (Institute of Law) invites
applicants specializes in three areas of legal research, including Law, Science, and Technology; Jurisprudence and Social Change; Empirical Legal Studies on Judicial Systems and Judicial Behaviors (Applying quantitative research method to empirical legal studies) to apply for a faculty position of Assistant Research Professor, Associate Research Professor, or Full Research Professor. -
Qualifications
Candidates should have a doctoral degree or expect to receive their doctorate before August 31, 2026 and have a completed draft of their dissertation ready for external review upon application.

Applicants should submit the following application materials: (1) curriculum vitae; (2) a list of academic publications within the past five years; (3) a research agenda (no more than 5 pages) and a summary of previous research (no more than 10 pages); (4) up to 3 representative articles, book chapters, or books (including doctoral dissertation) published within the past five years; (5) a printed copy of the candidate’s doctoral diploma (those who have not yet received doctorates should submit instead a letter from the school administration or from their dissertation supervisor confirming that the applicant will receive their doctorate by August 31, 2026); (6) two letters of recommendation. If the applicant has an additional working language besides English, they should submit documents (1), (2), and (3) in both languages.
Applicants should specify a listed field of legal studies for which the applicants would like to apply. All application materials should be delivered by 5:00 PM (UTC+08:00) on March 16, 2026. -
