Job Description

3. Work Content
  Assist the research team in the following synthetic biology and metabolic engineering-related projects:
  
  1.Carbon Capture System Design and Optimization: Use synthetic biology and metabolic biology to design and enhance the efficiency of plant carbon capture pathways.
  2.Microbial Engineering and Directed Evolution: Use E. coli as a model to engineer and evolve new carbon-fixation routes, then implement them in plants or cyanobacteria to boost carbon-fixation performance.
  
  Carbon Utilization Conversion: Use novel carbon capture model species to convert the fixed carbon sources into high-value products.
4. Qualifications
  *Background in molecular biology, life sciences, or chemical engineering, or experience in programming and an interest in interdisciplinary research.
  *Proactive learning, teamwork, and communication skills.
  *Interest in synthetic biology, microbial, and plant carbon capture is preferred.

  The monthly salary starts from NT$44,968 for master's degree holders, and NT$64,711 for Postdocs. Salary can be negotiated based on background qualifications and actual performance. This position abides to the Labor Standards Act.
