In honor and memory of Dr. Ta-You Wu for his contribution to the development of science and technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) has established the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (the Award). The Award is to nurture young researchers, and is bestowed upon individuals who have dedicated themselves to long-term outstanding research work.
Forty-one researchers have been awarded the 2021 Award. Each awardee is to receive a medal and a reward of NTD $300,000 from MOST. The five awardees from Academia Sinica are Cheng-Nan Lin, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Political Science; Hans Maarten Soederblom Saarela, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Modern History; Hsin-Hua Huang, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Earth Sciences; Tzu-Ting Yang, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Economics and Chia-Lung Hsieh, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences.
