　　In honor and memory of Dr. Ta-You Wu for his contribution to the development of science and technology, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) has established the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (the Award). The Award is to nurture young researchers, and is bestowed upon individuals who have dedicated themselves to long-term outstanding research work.

　　Forty-five researchers have been awarded the 2024 Award. Each awardee is to receive a medal and a reward of NTD $600,000 from NSTC. The six awardees from Academia Sinica are Greg Chih-Hsin Sheen, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Political Science; Yi-Hsuan Lin, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Economics; Junho Yang, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Statistical Science; Ruth Yun-ju Chen, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of History and Philology; Cheng-Chiang Tsai, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Mathematics; Pei-Ling Luo, Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences.
