The Institute of Biological Chemistry (IBC) at Academia Sinica, Taiwan (www.ibc.sinica.edu.tw) seeks outstanding candidates to fill tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Research Fellow level. The Institute has a long tradition of excellence in research at the biology/chemistry interface, in particular protein biochemistry, structural biology, glycoscience and the study of other post-translational modifications.
We seek candidates pursuing innovative research in biochemical science, broadly defined, who seek to uncover how biochemical systems function, interact, and evolve at the molecular level. Experience with, and an interest in integrating, artificial intelligence into their research is also highly desirable.
Chosen candidates will receive a joint appointment at the Institute of Biochemical Sciences, National Taiwan University (ibs.ntu.edu.tw), along with substantial start-up funds, ongoing intramural support, and full access to all shared resources in Academia Sinica.

2) A curriculum vitae;
3) A statement of research accomplishments; and

OVERVIEW
The Cheng lab is looking for an enthusiastic and excellent
Bioinformatician to join our dynamic and competitive group
in human immunology research in the Institute of Biomedical
Sciences at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Our research focuses on
deep-profiling human adaptive immunity during viral infection,
vaccination, or virus-associated cancer by cutting-edge technologies
including mass cytometry, single-cell sequencing methods
(Cheng et al., 2019. Science Immunology; Cheng et al., 2021. Immunity),
spatial transcriptomics, high-dimensional analysis
(Newell and Cheng., 2016. Nature Immunology), and machine learning
modeling. You will be working on exciting and complicated datasets
directly related to human health and disease. We have established
several platforms that generates high-quality data derived from
human clinical samples across infection, cancer, vaccination, and
immune-related diseases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. ASTRA consortium project: Analysis of Xenium single-cell spatial
transcriptomics data generated from a cohort of HCC patients.
2. CRS nasal atlas: Analysis of scRNA-seq dataset derived from a 32 CRS
patient cohort.
3. Analysis of scTCR-seq and scATAC-seq data.
4. Involve in all research projects in the lab to assist for data analysis.
5. Build cool tools or pipelines that facilitate data analysis.
