Work Content
We are actively seeking Research Assistants with an interest in chromatin biology, gene regulation, and functional genomics to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong organizational
skills and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative research environment. We investigate how disease-associated mutations in chromatin regulators and histones disrupt gene regulation.
Research Assistants will support ongoing projects through basic cloning, molecular biology and tissue culture, and will have opportunities to learn CRISPR-based mutagenesis and genomics
techniques. -
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology)
2. Strong organization and record-keeping skills with excellent attention to detail.
3. Prior experience with basic molecular biology techniques, including cloning and mammalian tissue culture, is preferred.
4. Commitment of at least 1-2 years is strongly preferred.

Treatment
Academia Sinica standards or above, starting from NTD 44,968 for candidates with a master‘s degree and NTD 38,388 for those with a bachelor‘s degree, and flexible salary adjustments will be made based on performance.

Precautions for application
The lab just launched in January 2026 and is supported by startup and core institutional funding. As a new lab, we are building our research program from ground up, offering trainees a unique opportunity to shape the group’s scientific direction and lab culture of the group. Lab members will benefit from strong mentorship in a supportive and collaborative environment.
