2026 Academia Sinica Fellowship for Doctoral Students in Humanities and Social Sciences: 14 Awardees

The Fellowship for Doctoral Students in Humanities and Social Sciences aims to recognize and support doctoral students with strong research potential in the humanities and social sciences, enabling them to devote themselves fully to academic research. Fellows receive a monthly stipend of NT$40,000, which increases to NT$50,000 upon passing the doctoral qualification examination. In addition to the fellowship, recipients have access to Academia Sinica’s library resources and may participate in its academic activities. A total of 14 students were selected for the 2026 fellowship: 12 first-year doctoral students and 2 second-year doctoral students.
