2027 First Session Short-term Domestic Visiting Scholars is Now Open for Online Application by October 19, 2026.

Academia Sinica offers an opportunity for a short-term appointment of visiting scholars from other universities or research institutions in Taiwan. The purpose of this Program is to assist scholars outside Academia Sinica to conduct in-depth research on our campus in order to strengthen academic ties as well as facilitating the development of sciences and technologies in Taiwan.

Each applicant should complete the application online (https://asms.sinica.edu.tw/) by October 19, 2026. Applicants should submit two copies of the completed application form to the intended host institute within Academia Sinica by the affiliated institution before October 27, 2026. The appointment for Domestic Visiting Scholars is awarded for the period from January to December 2027.
