Dr. Chang-Yu Chang, Assistant Research Fellow at the Biodiversity Research Center of Academia Sinica, has been honored with the 2025 Li Foundation Heritage Prize.
Dr. Chang’s research integrates community ecology and evolutionary genetics to unravel the complexities of biodiversity. Drawing inspiration from theories in evolutionary ecology and systems biology, his work elucidates the mechanisms governing species coexistence and functional dynamics within complex ecological communities.
His scholarly contributions are widely recognized internationally, with high-impact findings published in premier journals, including Science, PNAS, and Nature Ecology and Evolution.
