      Academia Sinica has established the Scholarly Monograph Award in the Humanities and Social Sciences to encourage scholars to publish monographs, conduct in-depth research on academic topics, and make important contributions to scholarship.
       Applicants for the Monograph Award must hold full-time positions at domestic academic research institutions or at public or private universities or colleges. Applicants must have been engaged in teaching or research in the humanities or social sciences for at least two full years. Retirees meeting the aforementioned requirements are also eligible to apply. Works submitted for the 2026 Monograph Award shall be the first edition of scholarly monographs published between 1 January, 2023 and 31 December, 2025. Submitted monographs may be written in languages other than Chinese.
       Applicants should submit their applications online at https://asms.sinica.edu.tw/en between March 1 and March 31, 2026. Overdue applications will not be processed.
       Three printed copies of the monograph shall be posted to the Department of Academic Affairs and Instrument Service, Academia Sinica by March 31, 2026.
