In honor and memory of Dr. Ta-You Wu for his contribution to the development of science and technology, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) has established the Ta-You Wu Memorial Award (the Award). The Award is to nurture young researchers, and is bestowed upon individuals who have dedicated themselves to long-term outstanding research work.
Forty-five researchers have been awarded the 2025 Award. Each awardee is to receive a medal and a reward of NTD $600,000 from NSTC. The six awardees from Academia Sinica are Meng-Ru Wu, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Physics; Yu-nung Nina Lin, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Earth Sciences; Chien-Ming Chi, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of Statistical Science; Tsung-Han Yang, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Economics; Wen Liu, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Ethnology, and Sheng-Hsiung Su, Associate Research Fellow, Institute of Modern History.
