Dr. Jian-You Wang earned his Ph.D. in Bioscience from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia, where he also completed his postdoctoral training. His research focused on carotenoid metabolic pathways, with particular emphasis on elucidating the pivotal roles of strigolactones in plant development and rhizosphere signaling. In July 2025, he joined the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Southern Campus. His future research will continue to investigate the physiological functions and molecular mechanisms of strigolactones and other carotenoid-derived metabolites, aiming to develop innovative, metabolism-oriented crop improvement strategies that advance plant science and promote sustainable agriculture.
