The 2024 Academia Sinica (AS) Fellowships for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences (the Fellowships) are now accepting applicants. Interested applicants should refer to the “Guidelines for Academia Sinica Fellowships for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences,” and should submit an application package, including an official transcript, a research plan, reprints of publications, a curriculum vitae, and two letters of recommendation from the applicant’s affiliated institution to a host institute or research center in the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at AS. Consult the institutes or research center for application deadlines. Note that one applicant can only submit one application per year, and the Fellowships are currently unavailable to citizens of the People’s Republic of China.
During the fellowship, the awardees will be granted to access library resources and participate academic activities in AS. Awardees are suggested to spend at least two to three days a week at AS working on their doctoral dissertation with an advisor from the host institute or research center during their fellowship period.
