A total of 10 applications were submitted for the 2023 Sustainability Science Research Program: 2 on “Technology of Carbon Reduction and New Energy to Help Taiwan Meet Its Goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2050;” 3 on “Technology of Carbon Reduction to Help Taiwan Meet Its Goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2050, Ecosystems and Sustainable Agriculture, and Governance of a Sustainable Society;” 1 on “Risk Assessment for Human Health under Climate Change;” and 4 on “Ecosystems and Sustainable Agriculture.” Of these, 4 were selected for funding, including 1 on “Technology of Carbon Reduction and New Energy to Help Taiwan Meet Its Goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2050;” 2 on “Technology of Carbon Reduction to Help Taiwan Meet Its Goal of Net Zero Emissions by 2050, Ecosystems and Sustainable Agriculture, and Governance of a Sustainable Society;” and 1 on “Ecosystems and Sustainable Agriculture.” Please refer to the following lists for detailed information.
