Abstract
Electron spins confined in quantum dots are a promising platform for semiconductor-based quantum bits (qubits) in quantum computing, offering potential advantages in coherence and scalability. Recent studies suggest that new materials and techniques may contribute to the development of high-performance quantum devices. This presentation introduces quantum devices incorporating new materials, such as two-dimensional (2D) materials and novel semiconductor heterostructures, as well as measurement and analysis techniques. These developments could contribute to future quantum technologies by leveraging the distinctive properties and functionalities offered by these new materials and approaches.
