The Lam laboratory at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute & University of Toronto is interested in characterizing the mechanisms that underlie the regulation of food intake, body weight, and glucose homeostasis. In this lecture, I will present findings that illustrate targeting the small intestine, kidney and the brain exert anti-obesity and -diabetic impact.
