以合成生物學、基因體學、轉錄體學、蛋白質體學、代謝體分析、演化學、及AI輔助，探討促進植物固碳及增加光合作用產量的調控因子、代謝途徑、與分子機制。透過基因轉殖技術，將可能促進光合作用與生長的因子導入藍綠菌及植物中，研究特定分子或合成途徑對優化光合效率、生長勢與產量的效力，以提出能促進光合作用增加產量的新法。
We are studying plant synthetic biology and metabolic engineering aiming to enhance photosynthetic carbon fixation, growth, and yield.

1) 生物化學、化學、生物資訊、生命科學、植物科學、生物科技、農藝等相關系所畢業者。Applicants who hold bachelor, master, or Ph.D degree in the field of biological chemistry, bioinformatics, life science, plant science, biotechnology, and agriculture are very welcomed.

2) 對微生物培養、植物種植、生化與分生實驗有興趣或有經驗者。Applicants with interest or experience in microbial and plant experiments, molecular and cellular biology, and biochemistry are encouraged to apply.

3) 能細心觀察記錄植物生長，執行生化分生實驗，並分析實驗結果者。Applicants who can carefully observe and document plant growth, carry out biochemical and molecular biology experiments, and analyze experimental results are very welcomed.

4) 能執行基因體及轉錄體定序分析、蛋白質體分析，並使用生物統計方法分析實驗數據者。Applicants who can perform genome and transcriptome sequencing analyses, proteomics analyses, and apply biostatistical methods to analyze experimental data are very welcomed.

5) 能運用程式語言(例如python, R)或AI tools (ChatGPT, GeminiAI, Claude Code) 進行實驗結果分析與預測者。

6) 未來想在生物科技領域繼續深造者。Applicants who wish to pursue further career in biotechnology.

7) 對實驗室維護與管理有興趣者。

依中研院規定，並依學經歷及表現調整薪資。 大學畢業月薪38,388元以上；碩士畢業月薪44,968元以上；博士畢業64,711元以上。
