Abstract:
The Institute of European and American Studies at Academia Sinica will host an academic exchange with Professor Dan Priel, an internationally recognized scholar in jurisprudence, in early June 2026. Professor Priel has conducted extensive research on both analytical and normative legal positivism. His teaching experience spans institutions in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. He is currently a professor at the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong.
This event invites students interested in foundational legal studies to engage in an informal lunch chat with Professor Priel to exchange views on academic research, teaching experiences, and recent developments in Anglo-American jurisprudence.
