Abstract
Laser-based control of ultracold atoms has opened new avenues for exploring emergent quantum phenomena. Recent advances now allow us to engineer and probe atomic systems with unprecedented precision, enabling faithful emulation of complex behaviors that appear across physics. In this talk, I will introduce the principles of quantum control and illustrate how a unified set of tools reveals deep connections between information flow, pattern formation in cosmological models, and collective molecular reactions in strongly interacting atomic systems.
