The Chen-Jung Hsu Lecture, jointly organized by the Institute of Mathematics, Academia Sinica and the Mathematical Society of the Republic of China, is honored to invite Professor Ngô Bảo Châu, the 2010 Fields Medalist, from University of Chicago to be the Lecturer this year.
In this series of lectures, Prof. Ngô will present new results on the intersection of modern representation theory and geometric methods, covering topics such as the generalized Hitchin fibration and orbital integrals, the stable Bernstein centers and cocenters in relation to Langlands functoriality, and character sheaves on loop Lie algebras.
