【AS Conference】 Nature as a great sculptor — a lesson from ferroptotic trigger waves

Large-scale cell death is commonly observed in embryonic development and human aging diseases, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Our research shows that ferroptotic trigger waves are the key mechanism underlying large-scale cell death, providing a new paradigm for studying cell death events during embryonic development and human aging diseases.
