Neurodegenerative diseases, often linked to aging, are driven largely by protein misfolding. This talk explores the origins and therapeutic potential of targeting misfolded proteins, using Alzheimer's and ALS as examples, and highlights pathological mechanisms uncovered in our research along with related drug development strategies.
