【Abstract】
Lattice QCD results for several quantities in flavour physics, including leptonic and semileptonic decay amplitudes, are now precise at the sub-percent level, so that QED corrections are needed to make further progress. This raises a number of fundamental theoretical problem, including the breakdown of Gauss’ Law in a finite volume, the presence of infrared divergences and large finite-volume corrections (due to the massless photon). I will review the progress which has been made to overcome these issues and present some numerical results.
