Abstract:
I will give an overview talk on the following topics: • Lagrange and Euler formulations of fluid mechanics • Variational formulation of fluid mechanics • Hamiltonian fluid mechanics, symmetry and invariants If time is allowed, I can also comment on numerical methods and data-driven numerical simulations.
