【Abstract】
The behavior of nuclear matter at densities exceeding nuclear saturation, particularly the pressure-density relation—known as the equation of state—remains largely uncertain. At extremely high densities, matter may transition into a deconfined quark phase. Neutron star mergers, which reach these extreme conditions, provide a unique opportunity to probe the equation of state through observational data. Our study focuses on the peak frequency of gravitational waves emitted after a neutron star merger to evaluate the viability of various equations of state models. We also investigate the potential emergence of quark matter within neutron stars, a topic will be discussed in greater detail.
