Dr. Kopin Liu, former Director of IAMS and Academician of Academia Sinica, will be visiting us next week. Dr. Liu is one of the world leading experts in Chemical Dynamics and his research is recognized by many prestigious awards including the First Presidential Science Prize of Taiwan in 2001. On August 15, Dr. Liu will give a talk on“scientific creativity”. This is an informal talk targeting to have dialogues with young researchers and Dr. Liu will share his views on scientific creativity. Students, research assistants and post-docs are welcome to join this event to meet Dr. Liu, to ask questions and to exchange ideas and opinions.
