Guidelines for the Establishment of the Academic Development Planning Committee of the Academia Sinica South Campus

- The Academic Development Planning Committee of the South Campus (the Committee) is established by Academia Sinica (AS) to plan the overall academic research directions, personnel allocation, budgeting, space usage, and valuable instruments and facilities of the South Campus.
- The Committee shall consist of five to fourteen members, with the President serving as the convener. One executive secretary shall be appointed to assist in handling the affairs of the Committee. The appointment period of the members is two years and is renewable.
- Resolutions of the Committee require the presence of more than half of the members, and consent of more than half of the attending members. Resolutions shall be implemented upon approval by the President.
- The Committee shall appoint several administrative staff, who are assigned from personnel in AS.
- The funds required for the Committee shall be disbursed from the relevant funds of AS’s annual budget.
