This position is ideal for candidates with a background in evolutionary genetics, bioinformatics, and molecular biology who are seeking to expand their hands-on laboratory experience.

Key Responsibilities

*Perform routine microbiology and molecular biology experiments, including PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and sequencing.
*Assist with lab management, including media preparation, ordering supplies/consumables, and maintaining equipment.
*Encouraged to independently design and execute small-scale research projects.
*Participate in lab meetings and regularly present research progress.
*Provide weekly updates on experimental progress.

*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
*Positive, adaptable, and self-motivated attitude
*Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
*Ability to perform lab experiments
*Strong writing and oral presentation skills
*Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
*Precise data documentation and accurate record-keeping
*Highly responsible and detail-oriented
*Patient, adaptable, and motivated to learn new lab skills

Academia Sinica standards or above, starting from NTD 44,968 for candidates with a master‘s degree and NTD 38,388 for those with a bachelor‘s degree.
