【摘要】
In this talk, I will present our recent work on the Lifshitz field theory in the presence of a boundary. In this context, I will first describe our construction for the holographic dual of a boundary Lifshitz field theory (BLFT) which can be consistently defined by imposing either a Neumann boundary condition (NBC) or a conformal boundary condition (CBC) on the end of the world (EOW) brane. Subsequently, I will discuss about g-functions and g-theorems for these two types of holographic BLFT. Finally, the computation of entanglement entropy for an interval in BLFT will be presented. We observe that it matches with the holographic result in both limits when the interval is very close or very far away from the boundary.
