【摘要】
In the past two decades, due to the rapid development of Micro/Nanotechnologies, with the integration of chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, chemistry, and life sciences, generating a new branch Bio-Micro/Nano Devices or Lab-on-Chip devices have proven to be powerful and inevitable tools for cellular analysis in a complex micro-/nanofluidic environment with their strengths of minimum sample consumption and contamination. These devices can potentially manipulate and detect bio-samples, reagents, or biomolecules in a micro-/nanoscale environment and precisely perform cellular analysis because of their real-time operations, range of designing, easy fluid control, monitoring, and programmatic switching.
In this presentation, I will elaborate in detail on the design and fabrication of different biomedical Micro/Nano Devices and their diverse biomedical applications, such as massively parallel single-cell intracellular delivery using electroporation and photoporation/optoporation, on-chip cancer-neuron interaction, sperm sex sorting, periodontal on-chip disease analysis, and others.
