【摘要】
Magnetic skyrmions, topologically protected quasi-particles present in certain magnetic materials, exhibit properties such as stability, small size, and efficient controllability that are crucial for the advancement of memory and unconventional computing devices. This talk will delve into the local dynamics of skyrmions in a specific magnetic multilayer system and explore how they differ from global dynamics, thereby enhancing their utility in versatile computing applications.
We will demonstrate how a single skyrmion, through interactions with local pinning centers and thermal effects, can switch between a small (S) and large (L) state. This tunability, influenced by the applied magnetic field and spin current, showcases the potential for implementing skyrmionic devices with high degrees of tunability and controllability.
Additionally, we will shed light on our discovery that neighboring skyrmions display anti-correlated coupling in their fluctuation dynamics. Understanding these interactions and local dynamics can pave the way for the design and experimental realization of versatile skyrmionic devices.
