2021 Autumn Intensive Chinese Lessons
1. Eligibility:
(1) Academia Sinica faculty members, research assistants and postdoctoral scholars
(2) TIGP students (Class B only)
2. Class Schedule:
(1) Class A (Beginner): Every Monday, 18:30-21:30 (3 hours), from September 27, 2021 to January 24, 2022.
(2) Class B (Intermediate): Every Thursday, 18:30-20:30 (2 hours), from September 16, 2021 to January 13, 2022
* Class B is an intermediate course and not for beginners.
* TIGP students need to complete one academic year (2 semesters) of elementary Chinese to qualify for Class B.
3. Registration Fees and Required Documents:
(1) NT$2,000 deposit
Deposit will be refunded if the student fulfills the requirement of attaining a C (70-79) or above in the course and students need to attend more than 15 weeks of the class per semester (18 weeks total) in order to receive a full deposit refund. (Regular attendance is strongly encouraged for best learning results).
(2) Scanned copy of Chunghwa Post Co., Ltd. Passbook cover (green passbook).
(3) Scanned copy of Academia Sinica Identity Card

4. Important Notice:
a. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged for best learning results.
b. Regular attendance is mandatory in order to be eligible for a full deposit refund.
c. Since Oct. 11th is a holiday, there will have a make up class on Oct. 12th evening.
d. As the epidemic is still uncertain, whether the classes continue to be offered online will be decided and announced later.
