The 12th Academia Sinica President’s term of office will expire on June 20, 2026. In accordance with the Regulations for Academia Sinica Presidential Searches, a Presidential Search Committee shall be established one year prior to when the President’s term concludes.
With reference to Article 3 and Article 4 of the Regulations for Presidential Searches for Academia Sinica . The Presidential Search Committee shall consist of 15 members, with three members elected from each of the four Divisions—Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences—by Council Members, and three members elected by Academia Sinica research staff and research specialists. Among the members elected by the Academia Sinica research staff and research specialists, one member shall be elected from each of the three Divisions—Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Voting information for the Election of Research Staff and Research Specialist Representatives to the 13th Academia Sinica Presidential Search Committee will be provided separately. Eligible voters are kindly requested to cast their votes actively within the designated voting period.
