    Kong-Pin Chen (陳恭平), Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Economics at Academia Sinica, is named 2023 NSTC Research Fellow. The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) encourages researchers to conduct long-term and forward-thinking research in order to promote technology development, accelerate technology advancement and elevate the academic standing of the nation. Researchers who have carried out NSTC -commissioned research or other special NSTC projects for six years are awarded with NSTC Research Fellow medals.
