Wnt signaling is a crucial pathway involved in both developmental myelination and regenerative processes within the central nervous system (CNS). Despite its significance, the coordination of multiple regulatory layers in Wnt signaling for oligodendrocyte (OL) biology and pathology remains unclear. In this study, we unveil a new regulatory pathway of Wnt signaling in the OL lineage through CK2α-mediated Daam2 phosphorylation and their stage-specific effect on myelination.
