The Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica is pleased to announce a new
academic publication, Taiwan Journal of Anthropology (TJA;
or 臺灣人類學刊
in Chinese).
A
journal primarily devoted to sociocultural anthropology, TJA seeks to bring interesting and exciting new anthropological findings
to the global audience. TJA is an international bilingual
journal that publishes Chinese and English articles addressing
theoretical, empirical and ethnographic issues in all sub-fields of
anthropology. The purpose of
TJA is to provide a major anthropological forum that
bridges developments in contemporary international anthropology between
Chinese and English audiences.
This journal is based on the venerable editorial tradition of its
predecessor, the Bulletin of the Institute of Ethnology, to
published peer-reviewed research article, review article, research
note, comment and reply, and selected book review.
TJA
invites anthropologists and scholars in other disciplines---who wish to
engage in dialogue with anthropologists, to submit their work for
publication. We seek and appreciate greatly your general support,
through submissions, subscriptions, and comments.
◇ TJA is currently indexed or
abstracted in the following:
Anthropological Literature, Bibliography of Asian Studies, Index to
Chinese Periodical Literature, Linguistics and Language Behavior
Abstracts, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences,
Sociological Abstracts, Academic Search Premier, SocINDEX with Full Text, Asia-Studies Full-Text
