1. Dr. Chau-Hwang Lee, Research Fellow of the Research Center for Applied Sciences, will serve as Acting Director of the Research Center for Critical Needs, effective January 3, 2024. The term of appointment will be until the new Director of the Institute assumes office.
2. Academician Sun-Lin Chung, Distinguished Research Fellow of the Institute of Earth Sciences, has been appointed Director of the Institute, effective from June 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026.
3. Dr. Xuan-Wei Huang has been appointed Adjunct Research Fellow of the Institute of Ethnology, effective from January 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025.
4. Dr. Wen-Chin Wu has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Institute of Political Science, effective from December 27, 2022 to August 31, 2045.
5. Dr. Chih-Ming Wang has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Institute of Europe and American Studies, effective from December 27, 2023 to January 31, 2040.
6. Dr. Wei-Chun Chen has been promoted to Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, effective from December 27, 2023 to January 31, 2024.
7. Dr. Suzuki, Eka has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, effective from January 8, 2024 to July 31, 2029.
8. Dr. Sheng-Shiuan Shih has been appointed Assistant Research Fellow of the Institute of History and Philology, effective from February 1, 2024 to July 31, 2029.
