【Abstract】
Single-molecule biology has emerged as a powerful tool in understanding biological processes at the nanoscale level. This talk will explore strategies employed in single-molecule biology, focusing on imaging protein dynamics and its implications in drug discovery. By directly observing individual molecules, we can unravel the intricate behaviors of proteins, shedding light on their functions and interactions within cellular environments. Moreover, leveraging single-molecule techniques opens new avenues for drug discovery by enabling precise characterization of molecular targets and screening of potential therapeutic compounds. Through case studies and methodological discussions, this presentation will highlight the impact of single-molecule biology in advancing our understanding of fundamental biological mechanisms and accelerating drug development efforts.
