* RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Structural enzymology: For development of therapeutics for diabetes and related metabolic disorders, enzymes involved in the key step of prostaglandin metabolism are under investigation.
  • Cell death signaling: Apoptotic mechanism triggered by natural toxins such as ricin and abrin. Exploring novel apoptotic regulators with potential for anti-cancer drug exploitation.
