本實驗室是一生物資訊實驗室，成立於2003年10月，指導老師為莊樹諄教授。

生物資訊學是一門整合了生物學和電腦科學的跨領域研究。其主要目的為設計軟體來分析大量生物分子所攜帶的訊息，以期將複雜的生物資料轉變為可運用的知識，進而協助我們瞭解各種生命現象的運作機制。本實驗室致力於跨物種間比較與演化等生物資訊相關研究課題，歡迎有志於學術研究的同學加入我們，共同『挑戰未知、超越自我、台灣發光、放射國際』。
