| Hotel

Guests can choose to stay at the hotel of the Academic Activity Center. Or, if
you want to have a taste of Taipei City night life, we recommend that you
stay at the 5-star Howard Plaza Hotel because it is nice and relatively close
to Academia, and since it has a contract with Academia, the rate is lower than
that of same-grade hotel rooms of other hotels.
The hotel rooms inside Academia is quiet and clean, and also gives the
best price. The cost for a single room (click here for photographs)
per night is NT$800, and NT$1200 for a double room
(click here
for photographs) per night. The double room has two single beds. If you wish to stay at the Academia
hotel, please email to CSR by August 1.
To reserve rooms at Howard Plaza, please make reservations by filling out
the form (room booking form-Howard Hotel) and email to
Amy8556-tp@howard-hotels.com.tw by August 1.

However, there usually are quite a lot of academic activities at Academia
around August, we strongly suggest that you make the reservations as early as
possible.
| | Exchange Rate

The New Taiwan Dollar (NT$) is the only legal tender in Taiwan. All other
foreign currencies must be exchanged. The current NT$ to US Dollar exchange rate
ranges between NT$ 31-32 to US$1. Foreign currencies can be exchanged upon
arrival at CKS airport or at designed banks.
